What are the repercussions for the guys? Should child support start at conception then? It's a child, right? I think a woman should have the choice but if you are going to force her to keep a baby, then you damn sure better figure out a way to hold the guys to the same responsibility because currently have none.

And what about rape victims? She didn't choose to spread her legs in the back of daddy's Chevy. What about her choice? Should it be taken away twice?
America has killed 60,000,000 human babies in the womb. Of course you hold the boy responsible for his actions. A simple court appearance will take care of that. The problem is many girls have no idea who they slept with. They spread it around like peanut butter.

Again you throw out a false narrative. 60 million is proof abortion is a means of birth control and not victims of rape or incest. In your mind we have 60 million females who are so weak they can not say no to a man pressuring them to take off their panties. What a bunch of pussies our society is raising.

Your grandma would have slapped the young man so hard he would end up in the back seat screaming like a baby. Why can't we teach young ladies to respect their body and if they can't control their sexual appetite take a course on how to swallow a birth control pill. But you and your side support the slaughter of an innocent child who is helpless. That is barbaric.

Threads like this (and the Disney thread) are great at exposing the mindset of the liberal.

I mean, who in their right mind wants to be around people who are groomers and baby killers? Shame on all of you.
Who in their right mind wants to be around rape groomers and mother killers like yourself?

So you agree they need to have an exception for rape. However my point was that police will not try to find Bob who had sex with Sue and then disappeared when Sue got pregnant. The law won’t address those situations. You are fooling yourself if you think they will.
I think you, and many on here, are muddying the issue with things that are not really relevant to the question. And for the record, I don't think it's not an easy thing to come to grips with because of how acceptable it is today for unmarried people to have sex. But the fundamental issue should be when does life begin? If it is at conception, for arguments sake, then taking that life at any time is murder, and that life should be protected by the Constitution. Rape doesn't change that situation. In other words, if a life lives, it doesn't matter how it was started. It has rights and should not be murdered. How it began becomes irrelevant once it is considered a living being.

If we think life begins at a later stage, then at that point how the life was created becomes irrelevant. The law cannot say it's okay to kill someone just because of how their life was created. That makes absolutely no logical or moral sense. The person has no control over how his or her life originated but they can be punished with death for how it happened. That is just poor critical thinking in mind.

Also how the law will deal with deal with dead beat dads is not relevant to the appropriateness of abortion. It is not my place or your place to decide when another person's life should be ended. In my mind, the only question that should matter is when do we recognize life and the logic behind choosing that point in time.

There are so many things wrong in this ridiculous post. Let’s see if I can hit them all.

1. All women who get pregnant spread it around like peanut butter and don’t know who the father is.

2. You hold the boy responsible yet I’ve not seen any abortion law adopted by the states that does that. Not to mention, the multiple dead beat dads out there now not being held responsible for the babies now. No law enforcement agency is going to make any effort to find a guy that skips town when he finds out his GF is pregnant

3. Pregnancies do result from rape/incest and do need to be accounted for in the law. It isn’t that women can’t say no. It’s that there are times, men don’t take no for an answer. Those women should not be victimized twice. Doesn’t matter if it’s 60 million or 6. Those instances happen and need to be accounted for.

4. Pregnancies happen because women don’t take birth control. Birth control isn’t 100% effective. There has been a male birth control pill available for years that Congress hasn’t wanted to release. If you are going to expect women to take one, maybe we should expect guys to take one too.

everything in your post continues to put 95% of the blame on the girl when the guy is just as responsible. That’s par for the course through because all the abortion laws currently put 100% of the blame on the girl.

So you are ok with victimizing someone twice. Got it. Hopefully that victim doesn’t turn out to be one of your loved ones.

I love it. It always goes back to rape these guys… anyways, I will say this… if a woman gets to choose to keep or abort, then the man should have the choice to abandon without paying child support.

Lady you are hopeless and it is time to bid you fare thee well. Your appetite for the blood of the unborn innocent is a mental disease.

I was a grown man with children before Roe v Wade became law. We were actually taught in school to respect a woman and motherhood. We had instructors who taught this. I had a class at the University of Kentucky that taught respect for a woman and her virginity. AT UK I was taught this.

I dated my wife for 3 years before we married. We had our first child 4 years after marriage. That was the norm before Roe v Wade. But abortion on demand with no consequences opened up the gates of hell for women like you and your blood thirsty political party. Some day you will face the music and pay for being so misinformed and barbaric. Killing babies is what societies did in ancient times, they sacrificed them to their gods. Liberals sacrifice babies to their god abortion today. Barbaric. Civilized people progressed past that. You could do better if you had a heart for an innocent child. But you do not have a heart or love for an innocent child.

None of that changes the things that were wrong in your post. You were taught to respect women yet you say they spread it around like peanut butter. You and I have different definitions for the word respect.

Have you read the bill? Given that it doesn't anything about "don't say gay"... Why was it portrayed that way by dems. It doesn't let teachers talk to k through 3rd grade about sex and sexual identity. That shouldn't be controversial. The left has gone nuts.

One co provided 15 forms of contraception through there insurance. They got sued and boycotted for not providing 22. You guys are nuts. Nothing is ever enough.

VA wanted to legalize post birth abortion. California is trying to allow abortion up to 28 days after birth. You guys will have it up to 2yo kids can be killed in another decade.
Hard to keep up with your rambling response but did you say California is trying to allow abortion up to 28 days after birth? Are you okay? Not on lsd or too much kentucky borbon I hope.

An abortion cap at 21 weeks would still make over 99% of pregnancies legal. If you only allowed abortion after 21 weeks in the case of death of the fetus or imminent death of the mother if the pregnancy continued you'd probably still allow 99.99% of abortions. But we both know that's not going to happen. States will outright ban it.

Which means the mother who learns the fetus she's carrying doesn't have a brain stem could not have the fetus removed from her.
So, just over 5 months.

I think the Mississippi Law struck the right cord which allow abortion only for the first 15 weeks. 95% or so occur during the first term anyway so it gives each side of this issue most of what they want. At any rate if this decision comes down from the court it won't stop abortions it will only result in a boon to the airline industry.
