That’s a shame. Fashion trends come & go...I get that. But the 2022 Player Haters Ball is going to look really weird without fedoras.

A great, great player and ambassador for tennis. One of the most elegant, all-around games in tennis history, imo. Very much in the conversation as GOAT although others have more GS wins. IIRC, Federer lost to Nadal in French 4 out of 5 years straight at one point. I'm guessing if he weren't playing the GOAT of clay on those occasions, Fed's GS titles would be closer to 25 or 26. Plus, I don't think Fed played the AO very often in his prime (like Borg who only played it once at 17 years old).

I'd like to see Medvedev, Alcaraz, Zverev, Sinner, Ruud, Kyrgios and others form a new Big 8 and slug it out over the next 10+ years.

He played in the Aussie Open every year until his injuries kept him out in 2021.

To expand on your earlier post:

If Nadal hadn't come around, Fed might have ended up with 25-30 majors.

But if Fed wasn't around early in Nadal's career, then Nadal might have 25 or more by now.

And if Djokovic hadn't come around later in Nadal's career, then Nadal might have 25 or more by now.

It's insane what those three did - and much of it at the same time.
