GF and I were very fortunate, we already work remote for 6 of the 10 colelctive days we'd work from home. So moving us to permanent work from home was easy. I'm actually saving money by not needing gas, lunches, and also saving time on an hour and a half commute.

It's kind of crazy, a lot of people got whacked by this, while others are actually thriving.

I have 2 jobs. One I'm working from home. The other was one day at a week. We got called back to work last week. So I worked my Sunday. I work at a hotel. We had 2 check ins, 2 check outs, and 10 total guests in house. For 8 hours I saw maybe 6 people. It was awful. But I'm getting paid

My company is in the dubious position of providing an essential service (CPR and BLS classes) but can’t provide the service. Our services are 99% rendered off-site since we operate classes nationally, and since basically everywhere is shut down that would host our classes, we can’t have any classes.
Just out of curiosity, not very savvy on medical terms, although I do know what CPR is. BLS? (something) life saving?

Sorry to hear of those who aren't working and need to be; I hope this blows over and you get back to work ASAP.

I'm still working FT and don't see that changing. (Considered an essential employee, work for UKPD)

We actually work OT most every week, some of it voluntary, some not.

I am working remotely and despite having just a laptop am maintaining my tasks. Its ridiculous that my work won't let us have a Friday or two a month from home as we have killed it working from home the last 6 weeks. I hope this changes that policy.

I’m on call with full pay for now, working roughly one day a week. Subject to change, of course. Good luck, everyone.

-im *essential*(of course I am), so is the mrs.

-2 man office...my compatriot has younger children and his wife has to work at home therfore he has to help with kids, so i get the office to myself.

-my crews/projects are grinding along.

-still a good deal of work coming out to bid, landing our share. Sufficient work on books to last through 1st quarter 21...pretty normal "backlog". No projects have been terminated...a few have been delayed. Knock on wood.

Working like a dog. I’ve worked from home a long time but not traveling the last 2 months has been really weird.

Sorry to hear some of you guys are going through this. Hope things get better soon.

Basic Life Support, it's mostly just for first responders but anyone can get it if they want. We also do First Aid but nearly everyone that goes through the CPR class gets the basic First Aid certification too. Though you can get more complex First Aid certification.

Going to be expanding into more licensing/certification programs in the near future as well, the demand is booming (and that was BEFORE Coronavirus hit) for people with the certification we will be offering and Red Cross is getting out of the market of it for some reason.

For all those still able to work and draw a paycheck, thank you and be safe. For those unable to work due to mandates, so sorry and hope you can hang on somehow. I’m self employed but have no income coming in for awhile, but thankfully my wife is an essential worker and is still drawing a check. I feel for those that have nothing coming in. Hoping things get better soon.

Laid off. Last day of work was March 20.

I work in auto parts manufacturing. Supply all the big Japanese companies and do some Ford as well.

Supposed to go back May 4, that is when Toyota is supposed to start back up.

Even when we do go back, hours are going to be reduced for hell who knows how long. Not many folks going into debt for a new vehicle in this economy.

I'm actually cool with that. I've worked crazy amounts of OT practically my whole working life. Not as young as I used to be.

Hopefully, will be debt free by the end of the year. After that, I'll take some half *** job and be able to gear down quite a bit.

Post if you are or aren’t working because of quarantine. If you want to say you are working but receiving less money, then feel free.

-Currently working (thankfully)
Have three children not working and don't know about the money situation. I'm retired.
