Columbia is my favorite SEC town (have yet to go to Athens). 5 points is awesome.
The gameday sucked though. Just hate a stadium that isn't on campus. It's on the fairgrounds.

It's gotten better since they flattened the old Farmers Mkt.
The new thing is called Carolina Village or something like that. It's pretty cool but it's still not on campus. I'd stay away from five points. Lots of robberies and shootings down there lately. I suggest The Vista which is on the west side of town toward the river.

I'll be there +1. It's the closest SEC stadium to Charlotte, so figured might as well..
Checked on parking at the "tailgating spot" I.e. public fairground parking, & it's $40/car.. So I went with park whiz- tailgate friendly, security, close $20 prepay lot near the printing building. Will be tailgating there.
