Rough night for Dylan last night in the Spurs big win over the Pacers (still preseason) — 6 points on 3-10 (0-1) shooting, and 3 assists in 19 minutes off the bench.

I would cut him some slack since he missed most of the preseason, but going forward he needs to take better care of his body and stay healthy otherwise he will start getting a reputation as a guy who can’t stay on the court.

Couldn't agree more. This has been my biggest fear regarding Dylan. IMHO, even with the subpar supporting cast around him, if he was 100 percent healthy every game last season we would have been dancing.

The Dallas Mavericks last year traded the best offensive player in the game because he couldn’t stay healthy.

Figured with the NBA season starting up tonight, we might as well make one big thread for both Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey to follow along in their rookie seasons of the NBA.

Surprised to see Dylan not starting for the spurs. Also not a word about him, all Flagg

Bizarrely, Spurs using Harper off the ball. He’s coming off the bench with D’aaron Fox not even playing. No idea what they plan to do with Harper when Fox comes back. Spurs were better off trading their pick if they are going to bury Harper.

During the game, one of the announcers commented that Dylan and Wemby would be a great pick and roll tandem because Dylan was great at reading defenses off of that action. I almost never saw an Ace/Dylan pick and roll during the time they were at RU. That explains a lot about last season.

Actually, I think the Ace/Dylan pick and roll would have looked a lot like what we see in the video - a whiff by the screener and then Dylan makes something happen
