Ace had 19 last night. 3 of 6 from 3. But only 2 of 6 from the foul line.

He started out very efficient 3/4 from 3 and had 15 points in limited minutes 18 but didn’t build on it. With Markenen out , that was his opportunity to put up a big night ( 30 points) but didn’t materialize . If he did they probably would have beaten the Lakers despite Luca’s 45 and Levbron’s 28

Rough night for Dylan last night - just 1 point on 0-8 shooting from the field (0-4 from deep), plus 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 TOs in just 18 minutes.

Imagine what the could have learned by staying at RU for another year instead of getting actual coaching and playing with better players.

Don't forget that if they stayed, they would have gotten actual playing time (same for Flagg), instead of languishing on the bench in the G League.

This still might be the worst thread I've ever seen on this board.

"There contracts maybe NBA but how minutes will they play. One needs to play to get better"

It's certainly on the Mount Rushmore of bad threads, along with the Ace, Dylan, and Flagg might stay in school thread.

Monster game by Flagg last night. 33/9/9 in a win against the Nuggets. Was an assist and rebound away from the youngest player ever to record a triple double.

Utah Jazz with a last shot to overtake the mighty Pistons. Ace only played 11 minutes without scoring. I wonder if he got hurt right away as he started.
Ace out today hip injury, missing game vs Dylan today.

Harper seems to have hit the rookie wall or something. 2-7 or 28% his best shooting effort in his last five appearances. Ofer last night.

Yeah his shooting has been in a slump since he scored 22 points on 9-15 shooting , 1-3 from 3 in the Indiana game 6 games ago. He also played 29 minutes in that game. Other games 11 minutes, 22, 20, 18, 23 and 16. He has struggled with less minutes. Still provides some rebounds and assists but you could say he is in a slump . His minutes variation off the bench varies a lot so might have something to do with it.

Yeah, could be, could be his minutes are restricted because he hasn't been great and Keldon Johnson has taken those extra minutes. Who knows, he'll get his feet back under him. Not sure what's up with Ace either, his minutes have been low his last couple appearances, maybe sick.

RHJr played 5 minutes last night and hit a three - RU had three guys score in the NBA last night - wonder if that ever happened before? Maybe Bailey, Hinson and Copeland ?

Don’t forget Jordan. Surely Bailey, Copeland and Jordan at one time.

That's a great question! If it ever happened it would have been Jordan, Copeland, and Bailey or Bailey, Hinson, and Battle.

It can't be Bailey, Hinson, and Copeland. Hollis was only in the league in 1979-80 and 1981-82. Hinson's first season in the NBA was 1983-84.

Here's an interesting tidbit from this Nets-Knicks game at the RAC on March 2, 1980. Two key members of the 1976 team (Jordan and Copeland) played in the game!

Copeland and Bailey are the only Rutgers players who played at the RAC in college and in the NBA. Jordan played a few years for the Nets, but never played at the RAC as a Scarlet Knight.

We have Ace, Dylan , Ron Harper Jr., and Cam Spencer playing in the NBA and all but Junior play key roles and play a lot. Dylan and Ace have missed time for injuries but I think they are both healthy now. Cam is becoming a big part of Memphis’ offense and he is hitting threes are a real good rate plus he rebounds and gets a lot of assists. It is a great thing to see Rutgers players succeed in the NBA. Especially since they all played at RU recently

Ace and Dylan faced off again last night, and Ace got the better of the matchup, scoring 25 points to Dylan’s 4, though San Antonio did walk away with the win.
