I'm very happy for Ron. Never in a million years did I think he was an NBA-caliber player. I was wrong.
I’m thrilled for Ron. He’s the only who is talked about on this thread that I care about. The others mean nothing to me since they did nothing when they played here.

The problem is NBA teams have figured out that under the current rules, the best way to improve your team is through the draft, especially in places like Utah where they have repeatedly tried and failed to get any star players to come as free agents. And many of the fans support the tanking in order to get a shot at drafting a potential superstar.
One of the Jazz's first high profile free agent signings was the Lakers star Gail Goodrich. The league rules at the time mandated that the Jazz had to give the Lakers their first round pick That was how the Lakers wound up with Magic Johnson.

It's funny- while RHJ is listed as a G/F - I am not sure I would have ever described as bruising and be surprised he is shooting 3's...Did I miss something or has my old age gotten to me already...
Very happy for RHJ - one of my favorite players ever at RU. And I always thought of him as bruising, given his wide body and banging underneath against bigger guys, often.

I will happily defer to those who watched him more than me…and one of my favorite too. Great to see his success

Very efficient 12-19 including 7-11 from 3.
In only 32 minutes. Clearly his most efficient shooting game as he was 12-19 and 7-11 from 3 . He has had other more complete games with rebounds and assists with only 2 rebounds and 0 assists. He is getting better every game and without George and Markamen he gets to take the most shots and was probably the top option tonite as compared to 3rd or 4th option.

Tanking is accelerating his development.

In other news, Adebayou had a paltry 83 points for Miami. Passes Kobe. Only Wilt is ahead of him now. A'ja Wilson his superstar girlfriend was cheering him on.
