Somebody take that kids shirt away from him and escort him out of the stadium.

Got you one better than that. Older gentleman decked out in MSU gear stayed the whole 17 innings last night and excited about us winning to tell me he’s an Ole Miss fan but pulls for both Mississippi Schools.

Are there a lot of Hybrid U of Memphis/Ole Miss fans? You’d be shocked at how many there are at the gym I go to. It’s super confusing because they will say ‘we’ about a game outcome and I will comment on a game thinking they mean one team and they correct me and say it’s the other they meant. Lol

Not really that bizarre. A small minority of people in Mississippi went to state or ole miss. They're just cheering for their state's teams. I don't really cheer for anybody other than state, but I'd just as soon any Mississippi school other than Ole Miss win rather than not. I probably would have cheered for ole Miss when they weren't playing MSU until sometime in high school, and even then, I didn't actually care about them losing until I spent more time around Ole Miss and its fans. If I had gone out of state or to delta state or USM, I probably would have pulled for both when they weren't playing each other.

I work with a guy who likes Oklahoma Sooners but right now he is a huge Gator fan but graduated from U Central Florida. I never know who the hell ‘we’ is with him. Lol

Misread that. Yea, Memphis and Ole Miss is a weird combination unless they did undergrad one and graduate/professional school at the other.

Aggravating to know people that like one college team for one sport and another college team for another sport.

Guy here in Vestavia is a huge Duke basketball fan and a huge Auburn football fan. He didn’t attend or graduate from Duke or Auburn.

Just not right in my opinion.
