Why did Stansbury burn his redshirt if he is never going to play meaningful minutes? Is there a way he can get this year of eligibility back if he sits out the rest of the year? I thought that he might wind up playing some when Moultrie or Sidney get in foul trouble, but apparently Stansbury would rather play Hood at the 4.

the only way he could be "redshirted" was if he got a medical waiver and I think that the injury would have to happen in either the first 1/5 or 1/4 of the season.
He played aGAINST Baylor and that was our 14th game so it's impossible to even consider the medical waiver once his eligibility is up.
