Says the word from the SEC officials is that the SEC is getting 6 host sites. This lines up with what the announcers said many times last night, we're hosting. UCSB has some facility limitations and may get screwed.

If it happens, I hope, we get paired up with a National Seed that has a really good 2 seed their region.
I thought it was interesting how the broadcasters were so confident that we were hosting yesterday. They were also talking up bubble teams in the earlier games. I wondered if the SEC instructed them to talk up all the possible host/bubble teams this week.
I mean the guys name is Rosebowl for a reason. Just like the naysayers I’ll take it with a grain of salt. We’ll know for sure after the dust settles.
Yeah. He could have just overheard someone say, "I think we might get 6 host spots" and report as "we're guaranteed 6 host spots."
I'll believe it when the host sites are announced and Starkville is listed. Obviously I hope he's right, but a lot of games and teams around the country could affect those 16 host sites.
USCE with a 13-17 SEC Regular Season is probably a stretch to host unless they win several games in Hoover. They also got swept the last two weekends in SEC, so last 10 games will not be a positive.
Yeah SC isn’t hosting at 13-17 in conference.but I don’t believe for a second the sec has been tipped off before Wednesday conference tourney action
Does the committee take Hujsak missing the UPIG & Missouri series into account at all? He was our best hitter during conference play & you have to think we would have won at least 1 possibly 2 more games if he had played those series.
There is no way in heck South Carolina is hosting when they had a 13-17 SEC record. Even if you want to count Hoover wins the same, they dang near have to win the tournament just to get to .500 against SEC teams.

I haven’t listened to anything Rosebowl has said since the OM penalties came down. I learned my lesson. He knows some things but dang he has some maroon colored shades on that make it difficult to trust him.

If we host, he will make sure to let everyone know how awesome is and that he knows everything. If we do not host, he will claim he was right at the time, but things changed, while also letting everyone know how awesome he is and that he knows everything. He is so very tiresome.
