Completely disagree, there have been many times where Rosebowl is way wrong, but this isn't one of them. This was a kid not understanding what a "commitment" means. Rosebowl had quotes and the whole ball of wax. Why would he not report that a kid committed when the kid told him multiple times that he committed.

All the websites were right on this one and it was just a misunderstanding on the kids part, not Rosebowl's. I am not a Rosebowl apologist, and understand why people don't like hime, but to blame him for this, you are seeing one side of the story. He did nothing wrong in this case, that I know of, and neither did P Jones or Talty. The kid just confused everyone.

I haven't read the article

Did Graham ever say "I am committing to MSU"? Just asking.

Secondly, I do blame Rosebowl for jumping the gun. Did he get verification from our staff or his coach?

It said he shook Coach Hughes' hand and told him he wanted to be a Bulldog. So, whatever that means.

My understanding is the guy verbally committed and Rosebowl reported it. The player then got several calls asking if he had committed. He said no because he thought they meant actually signing something. Rosebowl even called him back and clarified. Rosebowl is 100% correct in the fact that I believe the player told him he had given a verbal commitment to MSU. The player may change his mind, coach may change the player's mind, or something similar. But do y'all really think that Rosebowl, or any other reporter for that matter, would completely fabricate a commitment and an entire article complete with player quotes and everything?

I don't think he would fabricate a story, but I would hope he would verify the words coming out of a 16 year old mouth. Atleast call our staff to see if they have received the commitment.

The part that got left out was the part that said hs player told our coach Hughes all of this before consulting the hs coach who had a "the money was too much" offer from another college coach to sway player to their college and hs coach doesn't want to miss out on his part of the cut from college coach.

The staff can't comment on specific recruits until they are signed.
