So is the Athletic Department saving on a salary reduction?
RollingLaughYeah I think they pay high school assistants 3.35/hour. At least he's doing something on his paid vacation to stay busy. I wish him well. He put some coin in the bank and can maybe land a nice high school job or small college job. He didn't say or do anything as far as I know for me to dislike the guy. Some of Bo's assistants didn't really fit the whole Pelini psychology. It was unfortunate for him in many ways to have taken a job working for Bo.

Hard to judge that for me. He had to coach the way Bo and Pap wanted it to coach and that falls on Bo. Apparently Bo thought he was good enough to coach at NU. I agree that our linebackers looked terrible at times but was that Els or was it Bo?
Hey Dingle, you see my post in the ankle thread? Thanks again.

That arguement can be made for our LB's. However, our Special Teams were a joke under Els. They were better under Pap and much better when Pelini "got involved". Els was in WAY over his head and IMO he is finally in a spot where he is qualified and can be successful. I hope it works out for him and LSW.

Obviously by the way I stated that maybe he can land a nice high school or small college job I feel that Ross was in way over his head at NU. I just wish him and his family well.
