Short answer: Never.
He's our best/most proven arm out of the pen, and he's a completely different look for opposing hitters. No matter how Woodruff, Fitts, Bracewell, or Hudson pitch, they all can hit at least 88 with their FB, 90s for Woody and Dakota. Guys see that, and then you bring in a lefty with a rubber arm and a low 80s FB with ridiculous movement on every pitch and it throws off their rhythm. That's what makes him so valuable/good. Ross is a fantastic arm, but he's not a starter. Ben deserves a shot at a weekend role with how he's pitched lately (obviously not this weekend), and Woody really only missed one pitch last night. Command is always the last thing to come to a pitcher after an arm injury, but he's made good strides and he still shows a lot of promise.
