Got in the locker room after the Battle for the Golden Egg and talked to a few players/recruits, Cam being one of them. He seemed like he was enjoying himself, but was hesitant or apprehensive about something. Not sure what it was. When asked if he was gonna be slinging the ball around Scott Field next season, he looked nervously at the field and smiled, "maybe."

Not saying he knew by then he was headed to Auburn. But he knew Starkville wasn't his type of college town. Hope we give him a nice introduction* into the SEC. We've to be the loudest stadium in the nation to show our team the support they need to behead one, Cam Newton.

Chris Relf will be a much better quarterback. He's been in the system longer. Besides ....Auburn paid Cam Newton. We all know it. He's obviously not the high character guy we are used to if he's gonna take $$ over playing for the man that made Tebow the QB he is today.

And Relf may outplay him on that Thursday night, but Relf is not as talented as Cam

Strange Cam picked Auburn? No, it's not strange- they offered alot more money than we did

Yes, Mullen did a good job with Tebow- but Tebow was going to be great no matter who coached him. Coaching up Relf is a much better judge of coaching ability.

It was Cam's father picking the school not Cam himself. In fact, Newton's father Cecil pretty much said that Cam himself really preferred going to MSU but that he had to "instruct" Cameron on what was best for him (or at least best for the family bank account). I mean why be a rented mule when you can be a fully purchased mule.

I think he is going to be a really special player. I am glad we get him early and his first road test, because by mid season the kid is going to be spectacular. If you havent seen this video of him , I recommend you watch it
