It’s always hard to beat a team 2 times. Hickory won 35-20 last time. Some say Statesville was helped by refs to stay in the game around last time

Does Statesville win or will hickory dominates?

I just have a gut feeling - Give me Statesville by 7

Hickory by 30 this time. The refs should be neutral this time. It's always hard for Hickory to beat Statesville in Statesville, it's been that way since at least 1980....

Hickory by 30? The refs? Statesville ran the ball at will on Hickory. I think Hickory wins but It’s hard to beat a team twice, especially by 30 after they were up on you in the 3rd quarter of the last game.

I see a 28-21 type game tbh I think both team will have a good game plan n they understand what they gotta do so I think be more of a slug fest so it could closer low score game or could be a 42-35 type game so just depends but For Statesville They must play Clean Football bc penalties have been the Achilles heel for them

Statesville will have to play this game with emotions under control... They will also have to play a turnover free game... If the Greyhounds can do those things, WATCH OUT!!! THIS IS THE ONE TEAM THAT CAN TAKE HICKORY DOWN...

The disrespect for Statesville is real - Statesville gave Crest a hell of a game in 2023 28-16; 2011 18-17 loss to KM; they are 2-1 over South Point which was 28-27 win in 2023 in the last meeting

Yes Statesville may not be a State championship team like hickory , Dudley , etc but They are always in the mix.

Statesville is their OWN Worst Enemy bc usually if they loss if because 1. Penalties and or They lose control and they give up or whatever the case.

Statesville brings the best out of most teams

No one disrespected Statesville. Show me..

In fact it was a Statesville fan that disrespected South Point , KM, Dudley and so on by saying Statesville that was the ONLY team that stood a chance against Hickory.

I personally think Statesville is a tough hardnosed team with good size and fantastic athletes and I think they would be a load for any team they play. I think Hickory is a fantastic team as well.

But no one disrespected Statesville. It was the other way around. All you have to do is read.

The reason for the spread in my prediction is that Statesville lacks self-discipline and the pressure in this game will be much higher. It could, very well, be a close game, but I do think that Hickory has the advantage and I also think that Coach Glass will have the guys prepared and playing at a higher level for the playoffs. No disrespect to Statesville, they do have size and athletic ability, but they do tend to implode when met with difficulties.

Statesville was just inferior as a team and didn't care to be at HHS at all.
