against UAB. So, I think you're right.

Tommorrow will be big for him- if he looks good, then maybe we can work him back into the rotation. Cohen wants a LH starter in the weekend rotation, and it's pretty obvious that Statz and Girodo are not the answers. Cohen had also talked about using six pitchers against Valley, but he didn't say who- I suspect Routt obviously, Renfroe, and Bradford will pitch. Not sure who the other three would be- maybe Diaz, Stark and someone else.

I'm expecting Routt to go maybe three innings and somewhere in the neighborhood of 60-80 pitches. He was up to 60 in his last bullpen session that I am aware of. He's probably thrown at least one this weekend, but I don't know how many pitches he threw.

I doubt he goes longer than three or four innings.

I wish we could move Graveman to middle relief on the weekend and use someone else as our midweek starter. I don't think we have anyone else to start right now, though.

We only have six more non-conference games. And two of those are SWAC teams. That means that Graveman will be in the bullpen for a lot of the SEC weekend series.

Unless Routt just blows away the competition and looks awesome tommorrow, I suspect we'll see Graveman start against Ole Miss, USM, South Alabama, and Memphis at the very least.
