Roy Oswalt is building a house in Starkville

Posted several weeks ago he is going live just outside of Vegas. Under the pines and drive by the place every day. The location is starting to shape up. If he wants folks to know exactly where the place is located thenhe will say but expect it to be common knowledge in the near future. Rumors about reasons I have heard about but again it is up to him to say.
The guy is a State fan, he sees games in Starkville whenever he can. He wanted to come to MSU but you can't turn down that money. he's had a hell of a career for a terrible team, he's going to play 2 more years (or 1) and live the good life. I've seen him in spring training working out with MSU baseball shirts on. It's too bad being a pitcher is so risky or else I think we would have seen him in starkville for 2 years.
I understand he's a free agent now, so I guess he's planning for "retirement" ... at least retirement from the majors. Coaching possibilities for MSU?
He's moving near Starkville so his kids can go to school there. He requested that the Choctaw County School Board allow his kids to go to school in Ackerman, but was denied because he lives in the Weir District. So he pulled the plug on his $$$ Choctaw County Sports and Rec Center, started building a home in S'ville, and put his home in Choctaw County on the market. I think he really wants to retire, but would consider playing short-term fro the Cards. By the way, he spends most of his time in MS at his place in Attala County.
