This probably becomes irrelevant if we don't win today, but looking at the tournament schedule of some of the teams we've played, we have a chance to really improve our RPI with a win today, and a few wins by our opponents in their respective tournament. Old Dominion has a great chance to win their conference tournament, which should really help out. Richmond will probably have a chance to play Xavier or Temple, and a win over one of those would help. Rider is winning right now in their quarterfinal, and a win would put them against a good Siena team in the semifinals. Wright State is 2nd in the Horizon, and could end up meeting 11th ranked Butler. SE LA is 3rd in the Southland, and should have a shot at getting to the finals. Now of course this all depends on if we can take care of business today and get a win on Friday against whoever we play. But with RPI such an important factor, every spot we can move up helps, and a few upsets by some of the teams we've played could really help out our RPI going into Selection Sunday.
