yesterday at Heritage Oaks.......75....and I missed 6....count em ..6 birdie putts of 10 ft or less......make even 2 of those suckers and it's my best round ever....complete reversal of my normal game....hit it straight and long off the tee...threw darts with my short irons and missed every damn opportunity I had......I hope Skylar Howard's aim is better than mine:golf::football:[WVU]

Just NOT the putter....got a tip from my pro/playing partner on alignment and it helped tremendously....have a safe weekend and profitable golf experience......btw....I couldn't stand to see my wife being sad so I got her an 8 month old beagle pup....named him Wilson...I was raised with 7 beagles....had forgotten how active puppies are[devil]
Nice round anyway, Snow! Golf is a strange game sometime. Some days I feel in total control and some days I can't hit it in the ocean. I had an old mentor who used to say that your game "can leave you like a thief in the night". I guess the opposite is true too. I was looking at my scores on ghin just this morning. My index is now up to a 2.3. I had consecutive rounds last month of 87-71. Granted the 87 was at Eagle Point which is a top 100 I'd never seen before but I hit it like ****. Next round after that, I hit every fairway and 14 greens. same guy. Same clubs. Perplexing. That's golf and why it such a great game. There is always hope (and change).:smiley:
UP to a 2.3??????......I'm DOWN to a 14.7.......smart ***[banana]....but you're right...for every 76 there is an 88 lurking out there
How are you shooting in the 70's and only a 14.7? I have only one round below an 84 and I'm a 12.8 and dropping.

I put in all my scores....have played several courses from too far back for me,,,,,several 93's and 94's to go with those 76's....,i should post more about my crappy rounds.....actually i should play senior tees but i cant playing tournaments
I understand. I made my comment TIC. I am also guessing the Slope and Rating on the courses/tees I am playing is much stronger than the ones you are playing. Some of my scores are on very tough handicapped courses which translates into a a pretty low differential for a mid-80's score.
Most of the senior matches i play are easier courses.....all of the tournaments are on toughies.....ive had an 87 this year at Kingsmill where i played better than a 79 at my old course.....my 82 at Bedford Springd was better than any 70's round ive had all year......senior matches are over..,.only hard courses from now on.,,,,i bet i end up back near 16 again before the year is up
I have played zero tourneys this year and am pissed about it. The circuit I have been playing 6 or so a year folded this year and couldn't find a circuit that I was interested in. Just last month I found one so I will target it next year. Plus, I am planning on going to the World Am Championship in Myrtle which just finished up yesterday for 2015. Will be my first time playing in that week long event.

good round buddy..what are your swing thoughts?..I got over a frozen shoulder and after therapy..starting to chop it around ok..I try to keep my grip so light that I can barely hold on to the club..I think of my arms as wet noodles to keep me loose..it gives me a natural lag..it works for me anyway.
I have a bulging disc that affects my left arm....ive lost 15 yds the last couple of years..,just try to keep it in play and let my putter do the work
I meant pre-shot thoughts..Bubba Watson is 180 lbs and can drive it 350..he is loose as it gets..it should have been called a golf whip, not a club.
