It is amazing that dumbass still makes that claim. Gowdy's committee has shown that her minions were shopping for relevant videos while the attack was ongoing. They ultimately picked the one by the poor guy that was arrested in Ca.

It was definitely a factor. How do you explain the fact that there were about 20 other attacks against US facilities across the muslim world which also resulted in deaths and destruction of property. I would think that since it was the anniversary of 9/11 that had more to do with it than some video that only got noticed after the dems had to blame the attack on something other than their failure to mount some sort of rescue attempt. I don't care if you couldn't get there, you make an effort. No reason to get into everything again about what could or could not get done, you, as a nation, try to do something other than sitting on your *** in the safety of your home while good men die with assets in the region.
The video created an uproar across the ME. And teh video was obviously released at the 9-11 anniversary by design. Wingnuts will never acknowledge that the video prompted attacks all across the ME and Africa. Whay is that? It is a fact that interferes with your agenda. The NY Times investigative piece,, which interviewed Libyans on the ground also showed that video was a factor. But you wingnuts will continue to deny the obvious. Sort of sad that the GOP is now populated with people who shun facts-and science.
The video was not a factor in Benghazi, period. It did cause demonstrations in other areas of the ME, but not Benghazi. But even if you're right (which you're not), Hillary did not equivocate with the families. She ONLY blamed the video even though she knew it wasn't true.
Yes, it was a huge coincidence that the benghazi attack occurred along with attacks and protests at 30+ US facilities across the region. Nothing to do with it at all. And all those Libyans interviewed who were there are obviously protecting Hillary. And so it goes in the wingnut mind. Can't accept facts. Cant accept science. Living in an alternative universe.

I honestly don't believe some of these posters read very much. He seemed to be completely unaware of what Hillary told the families. He seemed to be completely unaware that the filmmaker was arrested. Even under his theory that the film played a role in the attack, Hillary still lied because she ONLY blamed the video. She never even mentioned terrorism, even though she was telling everyone else at the time it was terrorism.

They initially tried to settle on a Christian pastor's video, but of the two they picked; they finally chose the poor sot in California.
