Hey, RU fans, just checking in this morning. Seems we’re both feeling pretty down on our respective teams at the moment. The Badgers did beat Michigan this week, but didn’t score a FG for the last 10+ minutes of the game. Before that, they blew a 17 point 2nd half lead to Nebraska.

FWIW, coming into the year, the big 3 for UW were expected to be Wahl, Hepburn, and Crowl. Wahl had an ankle injury on 1/3, missed 3 games, and hasn’t returned anywhere close to last year’s form. For a high usage guy, it’s been a killer for the team’s fortunes. Hepburn is hot and cold, and Crowl’s effectiveness usually only comes against weaker front lines (I.e., not Rutgers).

Essegian is the bright spot. He was inserted into the starting lineup 4 or 5 games ago because his offense is much needed (even though he’s not quite up to snuff defensively).

I went to the game against Rutgers last year in Madison and you guys won. It’s not the pit of despair for opponents that the RAC (which it shall always be known as) is. Good luck!

Thanks Badger. I have always liked the way Wisconsin plays the game offensively and defensively. Well coached, good bball iq, good ball movement and off the ball player movement. Much respect to your program but I hope we get the lucky bounces today.

Low scoring game which probably will be decided in last five minutes by the team that has a pulse on offense. There better be ball movement to get open shots for Spencer.

I'm worried about Wahl with Hyatt on him

Cliff also need to step up interior defense on Crowl
