Rabun Gap takes international transfers. That's why they're not in GA. They would have to sit out a year.
I know some GA private schools play in the public school association, GHSA, while others play in a private school association. Does the private school association in GA have a 365? My guess is they do not but the competition would be very limited.

Rabun Gap is about four hours from Charlotte so a really long drive for Ravenscroft. From Asheville probably a bit over 1:30. No idea if Rabun Gap has any financial requirements to help the schools or it is just offset with their return travel.

That's a good question. Tbh I'm not 100% sure. I want to say you're right about the no 365. I think it came up not long ago where they were doing away with service areas or thinking about it. There's definitely not as much competition.

Game was not cancelled. Christian forfeit.
I know what you said is correct. I'm not questioning what you said.

Considering the record setting flooding between Charlotte and Rabun Gap, I would think travel would have been very dangerous, if not impossible. Why wasn't the game cancelled.? Why does Rabun get a win by forfeit, and CC get a loss?

I DON"T KNOW, but it sounds like somebody drove a hard bargain, and was unreasonable.
