Ruff seems like a decent human being to me but his record is not what I would want for my football team in the long term.

He was a ECU grad too...I guess it speaks well of the AAC that you can't settle for mediocrity there. This is, like, the AAC version of Georgia and Richt.

It took him four years to turn a .500 team in to a 9-3 team? Compare that to Golden at Temple, then compare the fan bases at Temple and ECU, then tell me why, if Golden is not a good candidate, we should waste any more time even thinking about McNeil.

They went to 4 straight bowl under Skip Holtz directly before McNeill took over. Holtz was 38-27 in 5 years there, and I wouldn't hire him either.
