Good reporting KV and a nice comment from Myrda, congratulating Varnado for his upcoming record, which removes Myrda from the books, or certainly pushes him down the page somewhere hard to find.

Certainly would be nice to see the record fallat the Hump. I know Varnado would like to see the same thing. With the refs we've had lately, they would probably call the game for Alabama if he did and we stopped the game to celebrate.

Any thoughts on how high he might go by the end of thisyear? I understand there is a freshman player in a small school somewhere already on a pace to better whatever Varnado does (assuming he stays healthy and productive).

As for tomorrow, I think (hope) that for whatever reason the refs will call things loosely tomorrow night, giving Jarvis the chance to break the record at home. The down side is Bama tends to slow the tempo and fewer shot attempts is fewer block opportunities.
