Why? You must enjoy reading over and over that Stansbury should be fired.

This is the best thread on the first page right now.

Heck, I'll even nominate it for a Remembers.

I understand the bitterness, but this is making y'all look like Cleveland Browns or West Virginia fans.

It's just poor taste in my opinion. I understand y'all are upset you didn't get the guy. ****, I would be too. But some of the posts on this thread are just in poor taste.

But hell, I'm not going to get tense about it. I simply stated my opinion.

was also in equally poor taste. And actually probably worse because he said that we were going to use him like a rented mule to a newspaper, which I imagine is more widely read than this thread. I still don't inderstand what he was saying since most QB's handle the ball on probably 99% of the plays. Or do you not want your son to play? It just seemed irrational.

Just say that all of the schools recruiting your son were hospitable and it was a very difficult decision, and move on.

I know two wrongs don't make a right, but...

What will make this even better is if Mahlzahn moves on (quite possible) and they hire a flexbone/wishbone guy for his senior year.

Obviously, you guys know more about it than I do. Just something about how excited everyone was rubbed me the wrong way. It's a moot point.

And I have gotten the impression his dad is a prick. Not unlike Seantrel Minnesota's dad.

<span style="font-weight: bold;"></span>
<span style="font-weight: bold;">On how they chose Auburn:</span> ``We
both decided what to do a few days before we went to Gene Chizik, but
Cam was apprehensive. He was leaning toward Starkville. He had that
relationship with Dan Mullen and there was a comfort level there. I
didn't think that was the right place for Cam. They just don't have all
the moving parts. Cam was going to have to be the star. He'd have to do
everything himself. I didn't want him to be a rented mule. Auburn has
far more varsity players returning, they have more skill players,
they're attracting more highly recruited players and it's right down the
street."
