Kirk Schulz is President of K-State and spent many years in executive administrative roles on the MSU campus before going there. He and Byrne seemed to get along well so I suspect he andStricklin have a relationship.Only problem with this is that K-State is doing quite well in football so it doesn't fit our schedule 4 automatic wins each season model. That will be a lot like playing another mid-tier SEC team. They aren't LSU or Alabama, but they can compete with just about any other SEC team.
But I have to think we intend on being a much better football team in a few years and we can play a decent non conference game every year.
I hope if we can be a perennial top 25 team that we can match up a mid tier ACC of Big 12 opponent every now ant then.
