<font size="2">Anyone heard the rumors about randall mackey about to get booted from the team? The story is he has an apartment off campus where all the players come to get drunk high ect. And if was arrested and rev nuts is doin everything in his power to get the charges dropped but he may have to boot him off the team. Looks like last year all over again. A transfer comes in is handed the starting job be the 2nd string leaves

it is copy and pasted so excuse the misspellings and rule violation (nuts), just wondering if anyone has any info?</font>

I got drunk in college a LOT! I got high some too. Not saying it's good for Ole Miss but you aren't going to see my *** throwing any stones.

he was a bad influence and nuisance to the coaches/team. Its one thing for the players to do that (I encourage it, "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy")... but for a player to have a place that is known for that and players can go to daily for that sole purpose, well, that's another thing.

BTW, I know Mackey's situation all too well.........I too got arrested in college for having too many parties in a row....DTP baby!.....('disturbing the peace' to you law-abiding citizens). While mine were just late-night keg parties, I sure as **** didn't give a 2-***** (3 ***** total for this sentence) about school at that point. And 3 of my friends went to the clink with me simply by association. I imagine its the same for Mackey... except replace "school" with "school and SEC Football"

about how serious this team is about winning this year. Granted, it could be an isolated thing, but you can't be really into football if you are boozing it up every night and toking the weed. (Damn I miss college....)

but back to your post, yeah I guess Mackey is handling getting beat out for the #1 QB spot by a transfer pretty well.
