You would have every SEC coach making that statement and surely it would have been out way before we drug Houston's nutts up and down the field in the second half last saturday. That's part of the deal, you get the shaft on the road. And I'm not buying Nutt having said that because like it was mentioned, he's been to Starkville every other year for over a decade now. It wouldn't just now come to his attention.

Iowa has their entire visitors' locker room done in pink. A former coach they had a while back was a psychology major in college, and he had once read that pink was the most calming color. Everything from the toilets, to the sinks, to the lockers, and obviously the walls, are all done in pink.

I count 10 in that picture and I assume that's not all they have. That's roughly a 10:1 ratio of people-to-pissers. My office building is light years from a ratio that good.

He's no stranger to this rivalry, either. Hell he ought to know more about it than Mullen does, he's been here a year longer. This isn't his first one to coach through, just his first one to be on the losing end of.

Any viciousness that he experiences might be traced back to that 45-0 beatdown he coached through last year. In retrospect, perhaps he should've subbed in more 2nd and 3rd stringers last year when they got up by 3 or 4 touchdowns if he was the slightest bit concerned about the "viciousness" of the rivalry.

Several professors and students joined the call Tuesday for the athletic department to do away with the pink showers, carpeting and lockers, a decades-long Hawkeye football tradition.</p>

Critics say the use of pink demeans women, perpetuates offensive stereotypes about women and homosexuality, and puts the university in the uncomfortable position of tacitly supporting those messages.</p>

''I want the locker room gone,'' law school professor Jill Gaulding told a university committee studying the athletic department's compliance with NCAA standards, including gender equity.</p>

For decades, visiting football teams playing at Kinnick Stadium have dressed and showered in the pink locker room. The tradition was started by former Iowa coach Hayden Fry, a psychology major who said pink had a calming and passive effect on people.</p>

As part of the stadium's two-year, $88 million makeover, athletic officials took the former coach's interior decorating ideas to another level, splashing pink across the brick walls, shower floors and installing pink metal lockers, carpeting, sinks, showers and urinals.</p>

The controversy gained momentum and media attention last week when a visiting law school professor told reporters she had received death threats after voicing objections on her Web site.</p>

He said when the new coaching staff was hired a coach that came with Nutt from Arkansas asked him about the rivalry "Do y'all really hate each other?" My friend responded with saying yeah, and explaining how it's between families, friends and coworkers. The coach later remarked with "I guess y'all do hate each other." They probably didn't realize how serious it was until this year since last year was just so one sided.

In fact the only time I've ever seen the inside of our visiting team locker room was during an Arkansas highlight show a few years ago. Nutt was lauding his team over a victory. The accommodations seemed cramped and meager, but nothing like the OP described.

I just don't believe that Nutt would be complaining about the lack of pissers when there are much bigger implications that game had than how long he had to wait in line to piss. Kinda like me saying I heard Mullen was cracking Nutt's wife and she was a bad lay. There are probably several people who can attest that she is at least a decent lay, but the point still gets there that Mullen was bangin' Nutt's wife.
