rumor going around Brassell quit the Bears yesterday

I know this does not pertain to recruiting but due to my close relationship with WR Snoop Brassell I am happy to report to you that he is back enrolled in school and taking intercession classes as we speak. He started yesterday.

There a lot of players taking intercession courses so please do not start asking for a list because I do not have them. I just bumped into Snoop on campus and he told me he started his classes yesterday.

- I wonder if he gave him eskimo kisses after they finished talking.

Yeah ol Yancy just happened to bump into the one player that was the subject of grade rumors and happened to ask him about class. Good ol Yancy.

this is what the 5th time Coach34 claimed a player on our team quit and none of them turned out to be true? Mackey, Brassell, CJ, Singleton, Scott and I'm sure others supposedly quit. What a clown.

he said there was a rumor that Brassell quit and rumors are encourged here right? He never made the statement that Brassell quit.

He never claimed "Brassell quit." He just passed on a rumor that has been on pretty much every website and forum connected to State or Ole Miss athletics today.

I've claimed 1 quit- Tobias Manning...I didnt say Snoop quit. I said there was a rumor that he has. <div>

And I haven't seen this rumor on any Ole Miss sites. This is the first place I've seen it. I assume it could also be a rumor on whatever other State sites that Coach34 frequents.

If Snoop can't get his shite together, he needs to hit the bricks. I like Snoop's talent and potential, as well as, Singleton's, but the damn drama has to stop. We have other kids in the last class that can play and play by the rules...forget about the ones that can't. Play ball and go to class or take your crap somewhere else should be the message.

He's typically right about players and recruits, he just says and does some dumb things too like re-ranking the top MS players so it favors us or whatever.

I know y'all hate him, mostly because he's almost always right about MS recruits, but Porter says Brassell just started wintersession.

But you, and this board as a whole, always seem to have the most reliable rumors, such as:

No chance CJ goes to Ole Miss. (And y'all can hate on his play all you want this season, but he was a typical freshman. He was no different than Cox or Boyd as a freshman. Assuming he doesn't do something to get kicked out of school, he'll be a helluva player before he leaves. He was actually one of the better players on the D at the end of the season as an undersized DE. This board's talk about how he's a bust is more about your ire for him not going to State than his actual performance. Reminds me of OM fans about Pegues.)

Singleton is a private commit to MSU.

Singleton quit. Singleton quit part II.

Aaron Morris is a secret commit to Mullen.

Cheif Brown/Senquez Golson to MSU.

Pat Patterson (yes I know he was a massive bust)/Vincent Sanders won't switch/sign with Ole Miss.

Carlos Thompson to MSU.

And so on and so forth.

Hell, I told ya Nutts was going to be fired last recruiting season. Many others here did the same thing. We nailed the **** out of that one. And many more. <div>

The kid has amazing talent and you don't just throw something like that away. He hasn't been arrested or done anything besides apparently making some bad grades. I'm not wanting the kid gone for making bad grades his first year in college.

but from the little I've been able to piece together, I won't be shocked if Mackey and Jeff Scott are gone at some point.

I heard a rumor Melvin Harris had quit. May not be a rumor. None of those shock me. They're some of the leaders of the bad apple crew we've been dealing with. I've heard as many as 15 needed to be reclamation projects. My guess is at least half of those will quit or get kicked off, so 8 could be right. There is a clean up job to be done before anything.

Actually, guys throw that kind of talent away all the time. Brassell is a huge question mark in my book. He's one of those that's going to have to get his head on right. You can only make so many exceptions for a guy.

Seems weird and implausible to just run into someone on campus while they are taking some sort of remedial work to get his GPA up to a point of rescue. Whatever his situation is there is surely a lot of smoke to be no fire. Don't blame them for trying to keep it hush hush until after signing day.

because if some things dont improve, supposedly he is headed to NWCC...there's a few that will be watched come the start of classes
