This is just a guess but if the "pick the 4 games preseason and only switch for injury theory is true then JoMo probably didn't have the option of letting him sit on bench and only use if needed. If that game had to be picked ahead just in case we needed him due to injuries, it would have probably counted whether he played or not. If so, play him start to finish is right move.

Its too bad Dolla Bill is a 4 gamer this year or he would've been available to provide backup depth on OL. The suspensions have hurt. Not only starters, but each kid provides depth somewhere. And they would've gotten pt regardless of what the two deep might've looked like.

I gonna have to believe that. Unless there are some unknown circumstances, most coaches want to make sure of the game at hand and not the one down the road. There are soooo many unknowns about future games (injuries on both teams, weather, player development, etc.) that you have to focus on the task at hand.

The way the SEC wears your team down, any of the teams we face then might be so beat down we could win with our second squad.

That also works in reverse, so play for today.
