Rumor is Marvin Austin from UNC transferring to Auburn.

I guess Auburn is taking anyone and everyone that they can. Austin has a ton of baggage with the whole Miami fiasco. Plus, the whole Newton thing. This was posted on another message board. I don't know how credible it is, but they say that Joe Schad from ESPN is reporting it.

UNC gets bowl ban so he can transfer w/out sitting out a year (can he do that when he would be one of the reasons for the bowl ban?). Second, he would be leaving a probation team for another probation team.

Austin would've been a senior this year had he been allowed to play... Not to mention that if he had come out after his junior year he was projected to be a 1st round pick. So first of all, the only place he could transfer and play next year would be somewhere that he didn't have to sit out
