There is a potential basketball signee on campus today for this year's class (2010). I haven't heard who it is, but that he is a big man. Any word from you guys?

The UTEP guy situation, whoever it is, doesn't seem to pass the smell test. Why would a guy that's played 2 years at a school, who is allegedly already a borderline draft pick this year (not my words, just recalling the OP on this topic), want to transfer to another school and sit a year in the process? Doesn't make sense to me. Don't get me wrong, if the guy is a stud and wants to play here, let's find a way to get him here. But on the surface, that entire scenario sounds a little weird...

Moultrie.
He wants out of UTEP, from what ive read, because of the coaching change there. And while he did declare for the draft this season, he isnt anywhere near a lock for being drafted or getting a contract. He was projected higher than Bost, sure, but still not solid enough.
I really just figured he would end up at Memphis. He is from there, has a relationship with the staff, and though he wasnt released to go there, he would get in state tuition and a boatload of legal $$ to offset his having to pay for college.
Who knows though. If we were to get him, then DAMN that would be great. He has legit size, is athletic, and is a more than capable role player in the post.
