the extent that rebelnation does in trying to get good players and could do no better than you have been able to do on the field, I would be seriously depressed. The highlights of your attempt at football success include Powe (how many signing classes did he give you a bump in the rankings, while he was getting eligible?), Orr, Tig Barksdale currently, multiple Strongs, goldie, etc., etc. You have crooked lawyers coming out of your ears, with the star being Dickie Scruggs. As I said, if I didn't get a better return on my dollars, I would be seriously depressed. hands down.....him qualifying is a good thing....screw all recruiting rankings, that guy shuts down half the field on either side of the ball......with half a brain, he would have been recruited by every DI school in america....
mark this down, he will be SEC all freshmen, and will be ALL SEC by his sophmore year.........ill bet a steak on it.

People think Bumphis is going to be All-SEC/great too. So let me get this straight...in two years, we are going to have an All-SEC sophomore WR in Carr with Bumphis as our number 2 guy? I suppose Relf is going to at least be 2nd team All-SEC because he will be slinging the ball around to these guys. Delusion.

Day and Holmes have qualified and are currently enrolled in summer school. Crawford is an odd case, he has qualified but we want him to spend 1 year at Gulf Coast CC and come to State in 2011. Lee has not and more than likely will not qualify and will be at Hinds CC this fall.Cowbell Herpes said:

Nix was watching video on a recruit for this class and asked who christian holmes (who is number 2 for such and such)was and said he had to have him-little did he know he was not a 2011 recruit, and had already committed to state. Jeremy Lee-class filler no doubt, only one with truly no chance to qualify. Paul Crawford is someone we wouldve taken regardless of anything, we were looking for speed rush ends especiallyand he fits the mold perfectly especially when he has time to develop behind Eulls, Mckenzie, Mccardell etc. Dillon Day on the other hand at 6'5 275, is he really any different than yall taking say a Josh Tatum or a Evan Swindall or a Logan Clair (all 2 stars, all ranked higher than Day, but similar in talent, offers etc)in a year when O-Line is a need? and yes you did conveniently leave out Damien Robinson. Not saying it was star studded over all or at the end, but we definitely didnt stoop to anything to fill our class out. Lots of the 2 stars we signed UNLIKE A LOT OF YEARS (especially under croom)were people we were on from the beginning-jamerson love, jameon lewis, brandon hill, archie muniz, malcom johnson, blaine causell-regardless of what other schools thought of them or sites ranked them. Did we evaluate correctly? Time will tell. Im sure we missed on our fair share.

Well we can't all have great recruits like Pat Pat, Tig, Hornsby, and who ever the guy was that wanted his mommy so he ran home! They'd look great for y'all on the field! Unfortunately that great haul has left the building. Crawford and Lee were sign and place from the get go. Although now Crawford might make it in. Holmes and Day are going to make some coaches wonder why they didn't find them! Nix is already wondering how Holmes slipped by! A 2* that plays is a lot better than a 5* that never see's the field or get kicked off the team IMHO Plus all ours can at least read!
