Is that Mullen has got Perkins out of Greenville St. Joe. Not a solid source at all. As a matter or fact the source, who lives in greenville, does not keep up with recruiting AT ALL, which makes me think that he actually might be onto something.

My bro was a running back at St. Al's in the late 80's and I remember us watching another guy play for Air Force that was a bit older than my bro.

Price (Ole Miss) Glynn Griffing (Ole Miss) Bobby Barlow (MSU) Norman Joseph (MSU) Walter Kinnebrew (Ole Miss) Tommy Ray (LSU) ...hell, there's not enough room in this space to list them all, so I'll just quit.

I'm not sure why Croom wasn't recruiting him, but this is very good news if true.
Kevin Mahoney back during the late 1980'''s. He played two years at Hinds then transfered.

Big ole stocky white boy. Johnny Gussio was one of the best special teams player we've had here at MSU. Downed many punts on the 1 yard line and he would knock your *** off !

That, or you ran out. It is a pretty big space.

You do know Perkins attends Greenville St. Joseph not Vicksburg St. Aloysius. Just making sure, i know the Catholic schools can get confusing from time to time especially since there is also a Jackson St. Joseph

If he gets a block, he's gone. Wondered why we weren't all over him also, but since he verbaled to Auburn I didn't see the point in discussing. If we do get him, it will be a very good thing. Also holds the state record in one of the dashes, not sure which. Not a bad passer either.</p>

between them. Scott may be a hair faster, but same build and background. The real prize in that class was/is D'Onterrio Caleb... Dabo Swinney seems to have locked him up. If you guys get Perkins and Clemson gets Caleb, Auburn will go from three great RB's and a FB, down to one FB who is probably a project to do anything other than block in the SEC.

I don't know what kind of competition he played against in high school, but out of all the film I have seen, he seems to be one of the better athletes I've seen. I guess he was too small for Croom, but we need to try to steal him away from Auburn. He would fit really well into Mullen's offense.

Spreads, direct snaps, etc. They both need a RS year, but will be very good SEC backs if coached well.

In category with other players from delta including Fletcher Cox, kids from Ray Brooks, Rosedale, Leland, WS, etc. Just thought I'd toss that out there, saw it reported on news this morning. Also gave team of year to Leland...not sure how Washiington School doesn't get that for winning state championship, although their coach did win COY.
