Mississippi native and Secretary of the Navy, Ray Mabus will be placed in charge of the oil clean up. I heard it from a pretty reliable source that this will be announced tonight.

I don't know what he could do other than, like the Prez and the Gov, posture and blow smoke. If he doesn't have actual experience in drilling, cleanups, and preventive engineering/processes we would be best served if he would just stay out of the way, like up in Washington, and posture from up there. I have no love for BP but we don't need another beaurocrat demending hourly reports that he can't interpret.

...that being Thad Allen who reports to Homeland Security, which is a good setup to me.

Comparing people who want less government intrusion in their lives to Nazi dictatorships is real intelligent. Read a 17ing book.

Mabus was a decent governor. No hate here. Although, him being the Anti-Christ is a bit of a challenge for him.

it's not in their best interests. They just want different things regulated. The left wants economic regulations, the right wants moral ones. They both suck.
