Just watching STATE soccer from a distance, Kinda hard to believe we are not a more desirable program from standpoint of fan support and facilities.......I guess Gainesville has population numbers/draw

Stricklin repeatedly stole the Starkville Church of Christ pastor as well and he now preaches at Stricklins church down there too. I don't know this as fact but one of the local Starkville Church members did tell me that. Maybe he'll recruit Spruill as well to come be mayor, and maybe Sumrall needs an OC on his new staff???
That would be very bad news. Only hope if Florida soccer has been in the cellar for years. He might want to wait for a better job. If we lose him I have zero confidence is Stricklin hiring a replacement.
Strickland is hiring our replacements now? Selmon might be able to handle that I reckon.
It'll be great when Stricklin finally gets canned because he will have no home in the SEC. No place where he's really welcome.
That's a shame, but we're talking about luxury sports. We may live in the fanciest neighborhood, but we have the smallest house and a 2017 Suburban with bald tires in the garage. We're barely keeping our heads above water.
I hope he is not planning to retire in the Starkville area. He’s certainly not welcome.
From Google, the name I'm seeing is former FIU coach who is an assistant on our staff is the candidate. I hope so. But even if they do take Zimmerman, this guy would be well worth promoting to the job. He won CUSA title in 2024.
Personally I think we should add women's gymnastics and then swimming.
So, both State traitors have hired our soccer coaches in two consecutive years. Maybe the next coach will be able to stick around a while.
It's incredibly embarrassing to Stricklin & Cohen how often Auburn and Florida resort to hiring MSU coaches. Imagine always using your Alma Mater to find coaches. Embarrassment
