rumored new Arkansas coach

Was sent a link from a huge Arkansas homer stating that the more than likely next coach is their former OC McGee that went to UAB during the off season. If true, you know UAB is less than thrilled. Watch this lead to contracts saying you have to at least stay one season before jumping ship.

I told said homer yesterday that I woud push for Richard Simmons as the next Arkansas coach. He is into fitness and you can almost guarantee he has never been on a motorcycle or a woman so no danger of that getting him in trouble.

All you can do is put buyouts in the contract, which schools already do anyway.

if Ark goes after him they will look even worse than they do now in the football fraternity of schools. and mcgee better figure this is his last gig cause his name will be mud too. ark needs to just man up and name an interim. if mcgee is offered by ark, he ought to turn them down flat and just chalk it up to crappy timing. somebody in this mess ought to show some integrity.

UAB fans have been phoning in to the Bham sports talk shows on the edge of cliffs practically. They have had a feeling from day 1 of the Petrino scandalthat Arkansas was going to come steal McGee back to Arkansas and that UAB was going to pretty much be screwed.

In the thread yesterday that asked to predict the next Arkansas head coach I said Garrick McGee and that UAB was about to redefine the term cellar dweller. If they lose McGee at this stage of the game, UAB will probably be the worst college football program for the next 5 years. Not sure how they would recover from something like that.
