Rumored that Kailo Moore may lose his 4th star and drop to a 3.

Not that I'm a star gazer, but many are, and rumors are encouraged.

Either way, it's looking like Shumpert is a higher regarded back, but I'd love to have Kailo as well. Looks like the Bears' hat ceremony may end up being for a 3 star track guy.

I can see that happening. He stayed hurt most of the time, was in 2A, and didn't make any real impressions at the all-star game.

Brandon Holloway is blazing. And Rosebowl still sings Kailo's praises, even though he decommitted.

Rosebowl actually has Kailo ranked ahead of Shumpert in his MS rankings. Has Kailo 3rd in the State and Shump 4

He must have gotten caught in a "Yancy" when Moore committed to State, and then couldn't change it when he decommitted without looking like a homer. Or else, he's a better evaluator than most*

and I thought that when he was committed to us as well. He has great speed but I've seen nothing from his HS stats or performances that would say he is a great football player. A dude with his athleticism and speed should be running all over guys in MS 2A HS football.

Why? When did we become Ole Miss? So because Kailo loses a magical star, and somebody says Chris Jones is now better than Nkimdeche doesn't change things. If Ashton Shumpert gets 47 unicorn rainbow horns but Kailo gets 107 fairy eyelashes, it doesn't mean one is better than the other, I think I heard a wise man say, it's all about perspective.

As Snake said- Kalio stayed hurt playing in 2A, and then turned up lame once he got to the all-star game with the big boys...

I have to wonder how he "evaluates" these players. Yes, I'm sure he sees some in person and then he has his "combine"- but I'm sure a lot of times it goes like:

"Hey, there's this kid at West Bolivar that's really fast and MSU and Ole Miss are looking at him."

Kailo is talented and a good get if you look at possibly changing positions for him. He may drop in the rankings partially due to his choice of sport. He loves track more than football right? As screwed up as recruiting rankings are the could drop him a star due to some ******** thought that he is not committed enough to football or something. And they would do it just by thought and not by fact. May be true... May not be.

And they very well could do it based on the MS AL all star game. He may have had a bad game or it may be a sign of things to come on Saturday.

I would love to know how much effort the staff is placing on getting him back.

Kailo kept his 4th star and is mystically ranked one spot ahead of Shumpert still.

Chris Jones moves up to #2 in the DE ranking behind Nkemdiche.
