I believe there's an update to this that no longer has Carter listed. But I couldn't find it on WrestlingSNL. Maybe I missed it.

Inference is the investigation has wrapped up without any resulting punishment. Thought you all would appreciate closure.

Like @Corby2 says innocent until proven guilty and due process and the like.

So you think Bartlett made it all up? I have no idea what was investigated by USA wrestling or what kind of questioning power they actually have. But the smell test is 100% on Bartletts side. He has literally no reason to make it all up at this point.

There could be a lot of reasons. It never crossed my mind that Bartlett is making anything up.

IDK either. But people are reporting Bartlett's wife has been deleting prior posts, FWIW.

That's what you came up with? Bartlett wouldn't lie about the pictures or the oil checking. I know you and your boyfriend check each others oil in a different way but that doesn't change the fact that it is absolutely a sexual assault. Only Ped State fans deflect sexual assault the way you do.

To be clear, they only deflect when it involves a wrestler for PSU. If you followed, they were all over AJ, especially when he was in the Iowa room. Sadly, that is how most fan(atic)s work for ALL teams....

My post was certainly not meant to imply that all of Bartlett’s claims were untrue. I hope and believe they will be investigated. My post was simply a joke regarding a widely discussed belief based on the many posts from Bartlett’s wife with serious accusations.

His wife's posts really don't matter imo. Beau made a statement telling us what happened, she just filled in some gaps. His side is he was robbed, bullied, sexually groped, nude photographed against his will, and the coaches were informed and did nothing. Either it happened or it didn't and clearly if psu and its fanbase has any say, we'll never really know.

I have a brother in law who is ridiculously well connected to the PSU wrestling program.

It sounds as though the administration and Carl had a heart to heart on Monday. Basically was told "Come to Jesus" or we may need to look around. Carl said he understood and will do what's right by PSU.

Cliffs Notes
Had a come to Jesus talk... yeah this usually works for accusations of robbery sexual assault and whatnot. You're so full of ****. But but I'm really connected

He said the coaches did nothing for all those? And you believe they did nothing?

I take the whole thing as they did something, but it wasn't to the Bartletts' satisfaction. And I believe their "nothing" refers to no resulting satisfaction; as in, 'they did nothing ... that got me my stolen goods back' or 'they did nothing that resulted in punishing the person I accused.'

Please provide Beau quotes stating he was groped or that's your take from the Collegian article? Or was it the anonymously attributed 'other wrestler?'

To me, certain posts were vague as to his complaint and the Collegian Article wasn't clear as to who the reporter was referring to for the allegations gathered.

Obviously, we now understand there was a police investigation of locker theft, an internal PSU investigation, and a safe sport investigation. How are you so certain that the coaches weren't involved in doing something regarding those?

I mean, you already admitted you don't know any details of any investigation. Seems like the wheels of due process have turned a bit.

The excuse making from all you PSU fans is tiresome and sickening, especially coming on to our board to sanctimoniously lecture about it.

From the Collegian article, "but nothing came of it from the coach" is the literal quote in reference only to photo allegation(s).

There's no excuse being made. It's just that the prior post deviates from what actually has been reported.

Penn state should seriously consider their morals and ethics. Oh wait. Joepa is innocent. Not sure if any of those idiots have made it here yet.

What I find curious is the police being unable to get in contact with CS for 6 months?
if there is one thing I know about innocent people - its that they avoid talking to the cops for 6 months, and their coaches keep them away from the cops for 6 months when the cops know exactly where they are every single day...

Yes, I agree when taken as fact. But all I saw is the Collegian report a Beau statement. "Penn State police were unable to contact Starocci over the course of the nearly six month investigation, Beau said."

Do police normally report their investigation details to a complaintant? I honesty don't know.

"Jacqueline Sheader, a public information officer confirmed UPPS investigated a theft allegation through their criminal investigations unit. Sheader said the investigation was closed on June 4."

From the Collegian article, it does not seem to me like details of the UPPS closed investigation were provided to the reporter, or whether he even asked to corroborate Beau's statement.

I know as many details of the "investigations" as you do. But we do know nothing of substance was done to punish or stop the behavior per Bartletts posts. The accused wrestler didn't face any serious consequences and the behavior didn't stop.

I believe Willie clarified wirh the reporter that what was meant was that Carter refused to speak to LEOs, and given the fact they had no direct evidence, they couldn't arrest him and try to question him (at which he would also likely refuse to speak as is his right under the 5th Amendment.)

Exact. And i don't know that "the accused wrestler didn't face any serious consequences and the behavior didn't stop." He was temporarily suspended per Safe Sport. There was talk he wouldn't be offered a position at the NLWC, and I don't know where that stands.

Did Beau assert that more thefts occurred or that more Snap pictures were taken after his complaints?

The Collegian article asserts alleged stealing "in the past." I read no definitive statement that the identified complaints continued after being reported. Can you point me to one? I only infer that Beau was not privy to any punishment.

I did read Beau (or Oliver) assert the ball grab, genital touching, and buttocks finger grabs were seen by coaches. I agree that, as the PSU approach emphasizes play wrestling, then egregious non-wrestling versions of any of these shouldn't be occurring.

As many people can color it as many ways as they want, but everybody on here knows Star was a dirtbag. And the coaches let it go. You can puff it out, play semantics, play what if, as much as you want. We all know the truth don't we? Sanderson has always played loosy-goosey with the rules. PSU fans know that, every other wrestling fan knows that. This is just one more case in point.

Just another job of the PSU admin and coaches burying abhorrent behavior by members of their school. Wrestling team members and coaches... football coaches... who's next?? I hope someone is watching their women's gymnastics program closely... so sad.
