definitely in the tops of the documentaries so far. although none have been bad. Definitely my favorite series on tv. Great for a young guy on some of the older stuff that i missed out on

The one on Reggie Miller was my favorites of far, but they've all been good. They actually made the Baltimore Colts band interesting.

This was great. I can relate to some of what he went through. I thought he was a waste, a complete moron - the 'media' fueled that fire. It was amazing to find out everything that he struggled with. He's intelligent, that was surprising to me - I'm glad that he's found balance and peace in his life. It was great to see the honesty and the courage from him.

If you were a hoops fan in the mid 80s, there was no bigger moment than that. The U was good too, especially the Cotton Bowl part. I've always been a closet U fan, even in the height of their thuggery. That Cotton Bowl was like watching a sit com to me.

that his Dad sexually abused him. That actually explains a lot.
Actually his dad was charged with sexually annoying a child. He had Ricky take nude pictures of him. No mention of ever touching Ricky. Not to say this was harmless but I suspect the bipolar, etc condition of Ricky Williams had more to do with his odd behavior.

I watched 30 for 30 about "The U" last night for the first time. It was on ESPNU. Very good show. However, it's pretty embarrassing to see so many 40 year-olds still talkingsmack about the old days. They were 10 times worse than Al Bundy ("I played high school football dammit. I scored 4 touchdowns in one game at Polk High. I was All-City Chicago" - yeah but now you are a shoe salesman). Excellent show however.
