Run the ball and you have a shot at a game winning FG. We DiD NoT hire an offensive HC! Worse than Morehead.
It's been like that all year. Lebby is terrible at end of halves and games. Just has no feel for the game at all. Just throwing crap at the wall hoping it sticks. Some of the worst end of game play calling and clock management I’ve ever seen. Unforgivable.
Lenny didn’t throw the ball to a 500 lb nose tackle. We needed ten more yards to improve the odds of the field goal. It's been like that all year. Lebby is terrible at end of halves and games. Just has no feel for the game at all. Just throwing crap at the wall hoping it sticks.
Moorhead was also gift wrapped possibly the most talented team in the history of MSU. Especially on defense. He's not merely "worse than Moorhead." He's multiple orders of magnitude worse.
Moorhead won 7 SEC games in 2 years. Lebby is probably going to end with 0, and even with the most optimistic outlook possible, it might be 2.
I said same time… let it run down to about 5 seconds then call TOWhy call the timeout in the first 17ing place? Run the ball a few yards, let the clock nearly expire, then call time out. This isn’t rocket surgery.
You run the ball then spike it. Only a fool coach would call a pass play when you are 10 yards pass his range. When you put the ball in the air the other team has a shot at it. You run the ******* ball in that situation.Lenny didn’t throw the ball to a 500 lb nose tackle. We needed ten more yards to improve the odds of the field goal.
It was a turrible play call In a winnable situation. We keep hiring losing football coaches we keep getting the same results!MSU could easily be 6-1…if the UF DT didn’t intercept it #6 for UF was going to
You flat out don’t throw the ball there period.Lenny didn’t throw the ball to a 500 lb nose tackle. We needed ten more yards to improve the odds of the field goal.
you run the ball in that situation. no reason to throw the ball at all. i'd rather him try the 45 or so FG than throw a pick in that situation. he misses the FG oh well, we lost a close one again. that is not what folks on here are bitching about though. it was the wrong call and he should admit it, at least.Lenny didn’t throw the ball to a 500 lb nose tackle. We needed ten more yards to improve the odds of the field goal.
Exactly what Napier did on his 3rd down play. We hadn't tackled the Baugh guy in the backfield all game.Lebby outsmarted himself, or i guess out dumbed himself again. He figured even Billy was thinking run, so he'd outsmart him and throw it. That one really hurts, was very winnable situation to lose on an incredibly dumb decision.
had Shapen thrown that last pass into the stands and signaled for Ferrie to come on himself.....he coulda given Lebby a big 17 you with a smile. It doesn't necessarily change the outcome, but would've been nice to have seen one of them do the right thing. Why call the timeout in the first 17ing place? Throw the go fade route early and fingers crossed. Then kick the FG.had Shapen thrown that last pass into the stands and signaled for Ferrie to come on himself.....he coulda given Lebby a big 17 you with a smile. Shapen should’ve never had the option. You run the ball. Which very likely would’ve gained yardage.Lenny didn’t throw the ball to a 500 lb nose tackle. We needed ten more yards to improve the odds of the field goal.
