Sure if we can move the ball. We have tried that before against other teams only to have us stuffed at the line. If you think by watching the Charlotte game that its going to translate to better opponents your funny. Granted UL isn't on a UT level but they are as good or better than a lot of the teams we have faced and lost too.
They're as good as one team that we have lost to; arguably, they are better than Vanderbilt, and certainly, they are as good. Had they not lost head to head to Auburn, I might have included Auburn, but the head to head game proved otherwise.

The UL rush defense is ok and sure not great but UL is not Charlotte. You are not going to beat UL with being able to pass. The weakness of the UL defense is when we cannot get pressure on the QB our safeties are not good in pass coverage. Actually I would say terrible in coverage but the key is you have to be able to stop our pass rush which is usually . Pitt had a very good O line that slowed us down. With that said UK has not shown they are a good pass protection team.
The only way we win is to line up and run the ball well and often enough that lb's have to play run first. If that happens and they have to cover with four, we might then have a decent chance at throwing the ball. IMO, we have to throw to the TE...which would complement the running game. Hope CMS watches the Pitt/ul game. If I recall correctly, Pitt's TE had several catches.
