Running plays with/without Jano?

My impression all season has been that our yards per carry is significantly higher when Jano is on the field.

Has anyone actually looked at that?

I'm just curious about ypc with him in either as lead blocker or runner.

All I'm thinking is that based on what I think I've seen, I'm thinking we need to develop some play action routes for Jano so we can keep him on the field for the majority of snaps, instead of always going 3+ WR's which appears to be Langsdorf's comfort zone.

I'm with ya on this. I haven't seen the stats either but it seems like we run it better with him on the field. I think he's the best blocker on the team and the toughest guy out there.

Jano averages a little over 7 yards per carry. Yet Danny "Callahan" Langsdorf only gave him 2 carries yesterday. Gotta love that NFL mentality. It works!

Agreed......Plus we very quickly and it as very easy to pick out that we gave up on the run game.....stick with it and it should most of the times wear down the defense. I'm just not a fan of having the pass set up the run game.....but then again, it' why I'm retired and sitting in my rocker!
