I still think they will do bad to the bone for when Bully runs out, but it will be awesome if this is playing when the highlight video is going, etc.

Jay either needs to replace that as an entrance song, or be replaced.......

an entrance song before a big game should give fans an 'electric' feeling, and goose bumps.......that song has meaning to our players and fans but is definately not an adrenaline booster, and lacks both electric and goose bumps....

has to be rap? There's a **** load of great music out there that appeals to a larger segment of the population than rap. Dare we be different.

Well, he asked the crowd for a thumbs up/thumbs down on whether or not to play it, and I think it was close to 50/50. So he may come up with something else.

I like rap and I think it is best for warm ups but the run out song is to get the crowd hyped more than the players. It needs to be something that most of the crowd is familiar with. And for that, you can't go wrong with AC/DC. Crank it up to 11 and when that first bell tolls the place will go nuts.

from rehearsal yesterday, the only thing between the band playing the 'hey song' and the run out will be the videos. We will be playing the fight song during the runnout. The only other song it would replace is 'bad to the bone', and I don't see that happening.

I'm only going on what the guy who plays the music said. Perhaps I misunderstood when it would be played. It was penny pitchers night, so that is entirely possible.

That was one of those things that was cute the first two years, but now it just feels annoying. <div>
</div><div>Just my opinion, though.</div>

Definitely my top choice. This has the buildup then explodes to get you really pumped. This or the eminem song, you cant go wrong with either.</p>

Jay definitely has input on what is played for the runout, but he doesn't have any say on the issue. he gave them a list of songs that would be good for runout, and the coaches listened to them and then talked to the players. truth be told, that song may not have even been on that list. its coaches & players say really.

If you have any intelligence and/or decency at all, you will not be too critical of the generation that paved the way for you. We all owe them some respect. Before you know it you will desire a little respect from your "youngers."
