Here's a view of our current "Runs Created", by player, that I put together for myself since I haven't seen one from Will James in a while. I thought others may enjoy seeing this too. I've also included some other relevant stats in this view, including a Runs Created per 4 Plate Appearances (RC/(PA*4)).
The version of "Runs Created" that I used is the "2002 version". This version is much more in depth than the standard of RC which ((Hits + Walks) * Total Bases) / (At Bats + Walks). The 2002 version formula is:
RC=(((2.4*C+A)*(3*C+B))/(9*C))-(.9*C)
Where:
A=(H+BB-CS+HBP-GIDP)
B=((1.125*Singles)+(1.69*Doubles)+(3.02*Triples)+(3.73*HR)+.29*(BB+HBP)+.492*(SH+SF+SB)-(.04*K))
C=(AB+BB+HBP+SH+SF)
