Twice. In Jackson on the Hold Your Fire tour (1/18/88), and in New Orleans on the Time Machine tour (6/10/11). And yeah, Geddy's voice was starting to sound a little rough by the Time Machine tour. Hopefully with so much time between shows he'll sound ok.Okay nerds: How many times have you seen Rush?
I saw them on the Presto tour, Roll the Bones, Counterparts, and Time Machine. Last time I saw them, it was clear that they were having a good time, but they had lost a step.

At least there will be one girl at the show now.

It will be Rush Mark III, where Marks I and III are not even in the same stratosphere as the long reigning Mark II. No replacing Neil is possible, and no attempt is being made. Everyone on the planet knows it. But they will be having fun playing their music, while giving Neil due tribute during an odd time measured group therapy session (along with many tears of revisited lament as well as joy). I'm tickled pink they will be bringing those in attendance along for the (ghost) ride.I'm gonna be THAT guy. And I will catch hell for it.
But it ain't RUSH without Neil Peart.
Not that the young lady won't do an acceptable job at it.
But I said what I said.
Have seen them 5 times, first time was Exit Stage Left in 1981, Biloxi, MS,Okay nerds: How many times have you seen Rush?

That’s incredible.Have seen them 5 times, first time was Exit Stage Left in 1981, Biloxi, MS,
You win, dude! (BTW, I’m also from Gulfport.)2008 was when I first noticed Geddy's voice start to regress. For what he sings, he held on a long time. 2004 Alex looked like he ate really well. Neil was always a monster.

I would have killed to have seen them in 1981-84, especially the SIgnals tour.
And the news of a new Stones album is about to hit too.Best thing I've heard on the Internet in 10 years.
I get it. At least they waited until he had been gone a while and didn't try to replace him as soon as he got sick like some other bands. Everyone, especially Geddy and Alex know there is no replacing Neil Peart.I'm gonna be THAT guy. And I will catch hell for it.

It was Rush before Peart and it will be a different Rush next year. They called him the new guy until the end. Of course we’d rather have Peart. But this best they can do. It’s better than no Rush. And it might be really good.I'm gonna be THAT guy. And I will catch hell for it.

That is one of the best live albums ever. I wish I’d seen them on the R30 tour. Covered all of their best albums (except Clockwork Angels which I think is one of their best) and they were still in their prime.Have seen them 5 times, first time was Exit Stage Left in 1981, Biloxi, MS,
that was the Signals tour, not Exit Stage Left. And was in 1982. April 7, 1982. i was there, alsoHave seen them 5 times, first time was Exit Stage Left in 1981, Biloxi, MS,
I think I’ll try to get a ticket to one of the Ft Worth shows. I’m sure they’ll sell out in no time & I don’t even want to think about what it will cost.Needless to say, I am stoked. Wonder what tickets will go for? I'm prepared to mortgage something.
She’s not Neil. But she’s not bad.
