Dak did do what was necessary to beat Auburn. Our stupid *** prevent defense lost that game. Dak go it done. He had 234 yards passing to go along with 133 yards rushing and two rushing TDs. In a lot of SEC games, that is enough.

Genius genius genius finally someone who watched the game, realizing Dak and the offense were ahead when they walked off the field. And Auburn is way better then last year. Seems from Les Myles post game auburn was tougher than the score reflected.

If Dak would have kept the ball so much and given the ball to the rb, we would have won the game for sure.

No way we throw Tyler out against LSU after a month layoff, coming off a head/neck injury. Mullen is just effing with everybody. We've seen some of his other decisions. That's what makes this so believable. I don't think Tyler plays again unless its the second half of BGSU...if he ever plays again.

It's not Dak's fault we lost to Auburn, but being good enough to make us competitive against a bad SEC team isn't anything more than what Russell can do. Had he won his first SEC start on the road, combined with torching a sunbelt team, and Tyler's play in the last three games, I think he starts. But just being competitive against a bad SEC team on the road isn't anything Russell can't do and while Russell can't turn in a complete game like Dak did against Troy, I'm not sure that really translates much against good SEC defenses.

It takes a genius to realize that it wasn't Dak's fault we didn't beat Auburn?

Yes, Dak did enough to win, but Auburn's not a very good team. I'm thrilled with the way he's played, but putting up 20 points against this year's auburn team is not exactly elevating our O beyond where Russell can get it (assuming Russell's past three games are a result of bad coaching, then normal bad day, then concussion unfortunately stringed together in three consecutive games, as opposed to being the result of Russell regressing considerably).
