I think we're going to throw the ball a little more than you're projecting, but you're probably spot on in terms of completion % and Yds/Comp. Everyone keeps talking about how big of a game this is for Mullen, but it's a monster one for TR. If he leads this team to a win, it will do wonders for the his own and the team's confidence. Fall flat and it won't be pretty

Disagree... Clemson slashed Auburn on the ground, we would be foolish to come out slinging. Couple that with what happened last year (we passed too much), and how little we showed on the ground last week, and I think you'll see a steady dose of The Stable.
I think Russell will have to wait for his breakout game, although his stats will be inflated by short passes in the flats.

We are 1-9 under Mullen when throwing 30 times or more. Clemson ran for over 300 yards last week. If we end up throwing the ball 35 times, something went wrong. Our defense needs to shut Auburn down and we need our RBs to have a monster game (particularly Perkins because he's probabaly going to get the most touches). And most importantly, protect the ball - no turnovers.

Clock, I pray to God that we aren't relying on TR to win this game. He had difficulty making decisions and getting rid of the ball quickly against JState. We all know he won't have that kind of time this week. (Saw little to no improvement in his play last Saturday as compared to last year.) Nice arm, but slow decisions and slow pulling the trigger when receivers come open. Maybe he will come around, but we cant wait on that.

The problem with state fans is that we haven't had a real qb in so long we don't recognize one when we see one. All we're used to is athletes playing qb. Tyler did force the ball into some tight situations last week, but that was because NO recievers seperated themselves from any db's. And he put the ball exactly where he needed to for the reciever and ONLY the reciever could catch it. You don't need to be a track star to play qb.
