What does this do for Rustburg and for the rest of the Seminole?

The coaching additions will be very valuable as the roster is still very young. The numbers game hurts when we play bigger schools. Several players play both ways and it shows in the second half. Depth has always been a problem.
Losing our best lineman, running back and tremendous kicker/punter with another small group of seniors for next season. My guess is they are still a year away from being competitive week to week. The current sophomores learned by fire last year and will be very experienced by their senior season.
Sad to see Coach Burch leave, he is a great young coach who is really loved by the players

Looks like a great addition to the Coaching staff. Your thoughts are mine also. They look about a year away. The sophomore class is their best class right now. Looks like they have some good young players coming up from the Middle School.

Did Burch leave?

He is currently finishing the rest of this school year and taking a position outside of teaching He is one of many great educators lost due to financial issues. I totally understand, but like many players am sad to see him leave

Is Rustburg right on the edge of being a 2a team? I know numbers are always a big problem for them. Great program none the less.

I don't think they are on the edge of 2A. I think enrollment is about 850.

Great addition to the staff and I don't doubt that they will be well coached but at the end of the day, good football players make good coaches and win football games. The coaches can't play for the team.
