I called that as soon as I saw the video. The president of the school may want to be looking over his shoulder too.

I wasn't surpirsed when a lot of the current/former players...

Over/under current or former players suing the school set at 3.5.

spoke out in support of the coach. They said the video didn't show the whole of the situation and that he also was very supportive of them outside of basketball. I'm surprised we didn't see more their interviews at the onset of this story.

The #1 guy who apparently got it the worst transferred to Rhode Island and the URI athletic department refused to allow him to speak to the media.

There are apparently 4 more, and I bet that's also the case with them. The guys who stayed probably liked him.

If by a lot you mean two, then yeah, I guess a lot defended him. Far fewer than those that trasferred out and/or didn't defend him.

No reason to risk the neck injury. He's all but done, IMO.

Yea, that guy really thinks people are buying his ****? He said that he never watched the video until this week, and he must have thought that would give him a pass. But then the reporters asked what the AD had told him about it and he said, (paraphrasing) "Well, he said there was some verbal um abuse and foul language, some physical stuff like throwing the balls, and some slurs".

Oh, so you knew that he verbally and physically abused players, AND called them gay slurs, but you didn't find it necessary to dig deeper or at least watch the video?

I'm not one of these politically correct all the time people, but to ignore being told about all of that, makes him just as guilty as the AD in my opinion.

So basically the AD says "I wanted to fire him at first but was overruled by the bureaucratic machine". Yeah, right. And the President says basically that he didn't know anything about it, and just felt he should go along with what the AD recommended.

So I guess no one is really at fault.

What a bunch of wieners.
